For this particular theme I have only two requirements for the source: high resolution and at least somewhat open mouth (tongue is an added bonus). So today we are going to turn lovely Jessica Timberlake (Nee Biel) into a bloodsucker, like so:

The first thing to do is to modify her features a little: raise eyebrows and make her flare nostrils. I use Liquify for the task. The changes are slight so there are no stretched pixels visible.

Now we need to put some lipstick on her. I used Pen tool, since I don't trust my shaky hand. The colour is #bc0101. Layer mode - Overlay at 100%.

Now, this looks fake because in real life lipstick will never have such clean contour, so I blend it a bit with a smudge tool with low strength and scatter. Besides, I found that this colour is too orange, so I duplicated the layer, put it underneath the previous one and set it to Colour Burn 13% opacity.

Time to give her fangs. As luck would have it, I have this wonderful shot of a crocodile (or an alligator) skull with beautiful teeth.

With a little masking and blending, then some shading and lighting to match the original, and now she has a brand new set of canines.

Next, her complexion. She looks too healthy, we can't have that. I used Hue/Saturation adjustment layer with Saturation down to -55. But leave the eyes and mouth intact.

Darken the eyebrows with Levels, Multiply blending mode. I used a hair brush to mask the eyebrows, then blurred the mask a little.

Time to play with shadows and light and make her look more evil. I used Levels, Multiply mode at 75% for shadows. I roughly painted over the areas I wanted dark, then blended with Smudge tool.

The same process with brighter areas, but Levels with Normal mode, 100% opacity.

Eye make up. I used three different layers for easier blending. All of them set to Multiply, 100% opacity. Just like in the step above - paint and blend with Smudge tool.

And to make things more interesting I added a Colour Balance adjustment mode set to Colour. 100%. With sliders: Midtones +82 Red, +4 Blue and Highlights -24 Cyan and+15 Blue. On this layer I painted some under eye shadows.

Then I added a Colour Balance layer as Colour with Midtones at +14 Blue and Highlights -35 Cyan to change the tint of her face, but masked out the eyes.

Next step, I added blood. I used awesome brushes by Blood-Stock. I used the same red colour as for the lips, but set the Layers with blood to Multiply, 100%.

There are different ways you can make vampire eyes, I chose the blood shot type.

First, I took a *pretty nasty looking* photo of a damaged eye by Blood-Stock, changed the mode to Multiply and put it over Jessica's eyes, excluding the irises.

Next, I painted over irises on a Colour Balance layer set to Overlay, with sliders for Midtones and Highlights at +100 Red.

Then I added Hue/Saturation layer as Overlay with Master Hue at +48, Saturation +100. And balanced it with Levels set to Multiply with 46% opacity and the Middle value at 0.30.

And lastly, I added the evil gleam. Screen mode with some red outer glow effect.

Now, time to change that pretty skin of hers.

I have this bone texture that I really like, but anything resembling veins will do.

So I inverted it and applied to her skin on 2 different layers: lower one is set to Luminosity at 15% opacity and mostly is there for the texture effect, while the upper one is set to Hard Light at 35% opacity and gives the eerie undead colour. I added mask to hide all and painted with white around the eyes, on the forehead, chin and shoulders, then used Gaussian Blur to soften the transitions.

And then I added another Levels layer as Normal with more shadows under the eyes.

Easy stuff now: add a suitable background. Since there isn't much space, I just chose some spiderweb mess to put behind her.

Then I used some great Spiderweb brushes by poisondropstock to put some of that web on the vampire.

I also added more shadows to the sides of her head and shoulders, and darkened her left ear so she'd blend better with the background.

And another Levels layer to darken her overall complexion, except for the eyes.

Pretty much done. All that's left is to sharpen the eyes and mouth ever so slightly and, being a sucker for vignetting on dark and gothic images, I couldn't help but add one here, too.
